Let me introduce some of the horses I work with or that I have competed with in the past.

Bennfentes xx (Thoroughbred stallion - sire: Notorious xx - born in Hungary in 1992, Chestnut – level- CCI***)

He is my most important horse. He is a bit of a handful, at times, which makes  him special, but for me he is one out of thousands. He was approved for the Dutch breeding but only had three mares to breed. When we bought him we decided to let him have a sporting career instead of a breeding career.  I’ve had many successes with him, he is always there for me. No jump is to high nothing bothers him, anything I ask - he does it. In the spring of 2006 he injured himself, so for now he has to take his time and try and get better. I hope he will soon recover so we can start training again. He is my absolute best and my favorite. For the Cross Country Benn is simply the Best!

Jacker Cracker (KWPN - Bay Gelding – sire:Jackson - born in 1995- level CCI****)

Jack used to be Rom’s horse but because of a trade in horses I got to ride him. Dressage is not his hobby but he does his best. During the Cross Country he is totally at home. He is careful and smart he always feels safe as houses. In a very short period of time he has grown in to a very good International  Eventing Horse. He did a terrific job at the WEG 2006.

Mondria (Trakehner – Bay mare – sire: Amelio - born in Holland in 2000 – level CIC* - CCI*) Mondria is a great ride. She has been with me since she was a yearling and has become one of my favorites. She a real sweetheart but also very pretty and talented. In the dressage arena she really looks the part but once we are in a cross country she changes into this well oiled machine that takes on every challenge she encounters. She is only a 6 year old but very talented. She is in training for the World Championships for Young Horses in France in the fall of 2006.

Arkos (BWP – Darkbay Gelding – sire : Artos ) Arkos is one of my “puppies” he is a bit of a rascal but he is getting better and better. He has got a lot of qualities, very good movements and loads of technique. During the CC he is a real “Man” . In spite of his youthfulness I think he will grow up to be a very good one.

Parceleen (KWPN- Bay Mare – Sire: Jet Set- Born in 1999 – Dutch National Level Show Jumping - CIC* )

This mare is of a very “original” breeding. Her Sire Jet Set is a Dressage horse, her mother is a Dutch Draft horse Parceleen turned out to be a Super Show Jumper. During the Cross Country she is very enthusiastic and jumps everything. She is a specialist in Indoor Cross, She usually wins there because she can jump anything and can turn very fast.

Just in France ( Thoroughbred Chestnut Mare Sire: Spurge xx Born in 2002 - Beginners Level Eventing)

She has not been in my barn long but seems promising for the future. She has had some successes on the track in France. I hope she is going to do the same in Eventing. She is a great jumper so she could turn out to be a very good one.

Kasparow Trakehner - Black Stallion – Born*1995 -  sire: Sixtus – Level - Prix St.George Dressage, CCI* CIC* -  approved Stallion for: Oldenburg, Trakehner, Danish Warmblood and Dutch NRPS

Me and this Horse go back quit some time. He has been a Dressage horse for a long time, during those years I often rode him for Stallion Shows or just for fun. Now since 2006 he finally became a Eventer. He is a Stallion with a super “interior” He looks wonderful and he knows it too! He will always try to deliver what ever I ask of him. His willingness to work is as big as his ability. The only thing he lacks is experience. He has done very good for himself this first year, he even won a couple of times. For the future I have several  children of his in my barn. They all have the same good movements and are very friendly horses. He is a very special horse this one!

Patience ( KWPN - Black Gelding Born in 1994 – Sire : Animo Level- 6th Level Dressage and Show Jumping – National in Eventing)

This is the cheeky one! He was bred and born here in our barn. He has great movements and he looks very nice. During the Cross Country he is very fast but he sometimes has trouble with his concentration. Especially when there are cows around! He loves those. I’ve ridden him for a while but now he is Rom’s horse. (traded him for Jack) Every once in a while Rom lets me borrow him for a Event.
